Okay so this wasn't part of GHA i just like the rainbow we saw on the way traveling home. It must have rained right before we came through Moab because this rainbow was so vibrant and pretty! Isn't it amazing the things Heavenly Father gives us and they give us such pure happiness? (or maybe i'm just a rainbow lover....who knows? haha)

Look! i found someone almost the same height as me! haha. she was exactly an inch taller than me back to back. it was good to not be the only short one there! Plus she has a cool name-Jael-i like it ha.

this is my other roommate-Becky-she's crazy! crazy in a good way though :) she was so outgoing and so much fun to get to know. she was the night owl that would go to bed an hour or two later than everyone else and we would have to wake her up ten minutes before meeting time in the mornings cuz she would sleep through her alarm. Wild thing was that she could get ready in ten minutes and look beautiful!

This is me and one of the counselors (probably my favorite girl counselor even though she wasn't mine haha). She is so awesome! She is one of those people that is such a great example to me just because of the little things she does. Such a strong woman and i feel very privileged that i know her and got to spend time with her.

ha this crazy guy is from Paragonah (i don't know if i spelled that right or not???). He's super funny and fun to be around-for sure like a brother to me. He's the one we got Kenny Chesney tickets from!!

These cute girls are the ones i was privileged enough to share a dorm with for 10 days! Love them all!

This guy is from from Moab, he was my small town buddy since lots of the kids were from the city. I kind of already knew him since i went to prom in moab this year with one of his friends so it was fun to talk about old times haha.

This cutie was one of my roommates. Carly became my sister over the space of 10 short days! It seriously was crazy that we were roommates cuz we are so much alike in so many ways-no wonder we got along so good ;o)

For one of the days we got to go hiking in beautiful Bryce Canyon. It was so hot but so much fun! I was sad that i didn't get to see Jan. How ironic is it that the one day i was like 10 minutes away from where she lives, she was coming to Blanding!!!
okay so i really stink at this whole blog thing!!! haha but i'm going to give it a shot. About a month ago i went to Governor's Honors Academy at SUU and had the time of my life. GHA is a scholarship program that Juniors across the state of Utah apply for and only 50 from the state are chosen to go. I'm so lucky to have gone! I made 50 new best friends. After you go you write an essay on and send it in to receive you're grade and get 6 University credits and an AWESOME scholarship to SUU. While we were there we went to workshops and did some outside activities. Don't worry it wasn't all fun and games-you definitly earn those credits! We had a debate with topics that were assigned before the academy over some very controversial topics. I'm not a very big picture taker but thats a look at some that i did take. I would recommend atleast applying to anyone!!!
